Project Description

The Toffee elegantly stands amidst the vibrant pulse of downtown Kuala Lumpur, as a living testament to the city's rich history and vibrant future. With its remarkable 10-storey presence and mid-century art deco facade, The Toffee is not just a building but a fusion of heritage, innovation, and sustainability. It has been craftfully refurbished into a multi-use building with GBI Certification. By seamlessly connecting F&B, architecture, art, design and performance spaces, it weaves a tapestry of human connection with the creative spirit.

Spaces within are vertically fractionated into multi programs comprising: - - Ur-Mu, a private contemporary art museum that exhibits regional eclectic artworks that convey the aspirations and moods of the city. - The Crave, a flexible venue inspired by the creative ideas of users who want to transform their next event to a whole other level of expression whether it be for seminars, parties, or concerts. - The Project Room with its flexible layout and contemporary industrial ambience is a perfect canvas for hosting a wide array of captivating exhibitions. - On the lofty roof, Boombong is a lively garden conservatory. It stands as a testament to artistic expression and ecological consciousness, embodiment of design and green ethos. An inviting social eco-system and hub with a harmonious mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, along with curated pop-up events and performances offer an unparalleled experience for those seeking relaxation, intellectual stimulation

A very good design approach in conservation works which giving new life to the old building and rejuvenate the building itself and surroundings.
