The site was formerly an ageing police quarters. The architect chose to demolish the dilapidated buildings and construct new ones while retaining much of the existing infrastructure. Internal roads were upgraded and resurfaced, preserving the spirit of the place while saving the client substantial cost. The site itself is generally flat and open, without significant trees or water features. The new layout was carefully planned to fit naturally within the existing infrastructure.
