The Pulse

The Pulse reimagines the high-rise as a vertical extension of the public realm, where architecture, landscape, community, and daily life unfold across multiple levels. Anchored on a sloped site in Bandar Puteri Puchong, it layers cascading green decks, sky gardens, and shared wellness spaces to promote vertical walkability and social connection. Terraced retail follows the land’s natural contours, forming a porous, street-facing promenade with shaded communal pockets. Active frontages animate the podium, while native bougainvillea softens its edges and reinforces local identity. From ground to rooftop, open-air stairs and hanging social spaces weave a vibrant, nature-infused urban environment.

The Pulse is conceived as a vertical neighbourhood where city life, nature, and community are connected in one continuous journey. Instead of stacking mixed-use programmes into isolated floors, we shape the development as a walkable sequence of layered terraces and sky gardens, guiding people from the street up to the top floor of the car park podium.

The podium is treated as lived ground. Retail terraces follow the site’s slope and spill into shaded alfresco pockets, forming an active, street-facing promenade and a new social edge for Bandar Puteri Puchong. Along this frontage, “in-between” spaces between shopfronts, structure, and planting become small pockets for sitting, waiting, and casual meet-ups, turning movement into social life.

Greenery is woven into circulation routes and shared decks to soften massing, improve comfort, and support daily wellbeing. The result is a people-first, porous high-density environment where community stays in motion.
