YOLO Signature Suites, a 140-meter, 40-floor office suites in Bandar Sunway, stands as a striking addition to the cityscape. It’s design draws inspiration from the rugged, sculptural characteristics of mountains, with curved lines, undulating shapes, and layered contours that blend harmoniously with the natural environment. The building's fluid and dynamic exterior mirrors the undulating slopes of mountains. Focused on creating a vibrant community hub near universities, the project promotes collaboration, learning, and social interaction. It integrates functional spaces, innovative technologies, and sustainable features to foster an inclusive, future-ready space for students, faculty, and locals.
The architectural vision draws inspiration from the textured stone façade: The tower façade features around creating a dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and materiality. The combination of angles, finishes, and textures in the building's façade design creates an interplay that captures the changing reflections of sunlight throughout the day. The goal is to craft an aesthetically appealing and visually captivating exterior that engages viewers and adds a distinct character to the building. The facade texture concept draws inspiration from natural elements and innovative design techniques to achieve a harmonious blend of form and function. The architect expressed its design intent by emphasizing brutalism on the facade of the building. Using the bare concrete to create something timeless and monumental in order to fit within the fabric of city. The bare concrete is protected by water-repellent clear coating from SKK brand to prevent moisture and fungus.
